Necessary Elements
Necessary Elements in the Fundamentals of Human Subjects Research is a workshop introduction to clinical research at Washington University, offered twice a year by the Human Research Protection Office for newly hired clinical research staff. The course is intended to provide participants with information from as many regulatory and clinical areas involved in human subjects research as possible so that the attendees are exposed to the research enterprise that governs research as well as the various types of studies found under the umbrella of human subjects research. There is a small cost to take this course.

SLeD (K Awards) Seminar Series
The Scientific Leadership and Development Seminars are targeted towards junior faculty conducting multidisciplinary clinical and translational research. We conduct multiple one-hour seminars throughout the academic year, focused on career development topics that are relevant to those who have an independent or career development K award.
